A survey on some recent developments in 1D dynamics

Abstract. In this talk I will discuss some recent results in the field of 1D dynamics, related to density of hyperbolic maps within families of real analytic maps and partitioning the space of real analytic maps by conjugacy classes. I will compare these results to the circle and the higher dimensional case.
